Hey Mr.Sweet,
Thanks again for being such help. As you know, I damage my ligament in my knee pretty badly in a motorcycle accident. I've been in some realtively serious pain for over a month now and have had to cut down on how much I lift, and how much I run. Any advice on recovery? Could this create a problem for me in meps or indoc?
Of course it could create a problem if you haven't received the proper amount of rest prior to attending the course. Are you taking any joint supplements and fish oil? I recommend you take a joint triplex: (Glucosamine, MSM, and chrondroiton) be advised that it takes your body about 2 months until it begins receiving the effects from these as it is called a "saturation period." Do you work on your mobility/flexibility on your knee (physical therapy type exercises)?
What injury did you receive? How much time do you have to train before you go to basic training?
I am in the same boat, tore my acl and meniscus and am recovering and getting back to hitting it hard training again. Any specific supplement or just any that include those ingredients?
