    trojan26.nm,

As you know, there are many muscle groups to develop when desiring to gain mass, and they cannot all be worked efficiently in just one particular workout. For the sake of football, I recommend you take your focus off of your weight. Redirect your focus to 1.) Your Speed 2.)Your Explosion 3.)Mobility/Flexibility. I

In ANY collision, the kinetic energy is determined by the equation KE= .5MV^2

To translate this, it means that two factors determine who is going to win when going head to head with someone on the football field (excluding tackling angles, which is extremely important)...MASS (M) and VELOCITY (V). What physics tells us in this equation is that velocity is EXPONENTIALLY more impactful in a collision than mass by a major factor. Hence the phrase, "Speed Kills." Yes, a football player needs to be a certain size, but without speed and explosion, there will be no place for you on the squad. Anyone can learn to put on muscle, but much fewer can display the agility necessary.

Now that that's been said...What are you currently doing for your workout regime for your legs? We will start from there.
